Verdence Capital Advisors Expands Hunt Valley, Maryland Presence with Acquisition of Harvest Investment Consultants

Verdence Capital Advisors, LLC (“Verdence”), a Maryland-based private wealth advisory and multi-family office serving individuals, families, executives and business owners, announced today that it has acquired Harvest Investment Consultants, LLC (“Harvest”), a registered investment advisor (“RIA”) with $564 million in assets under management (“AUM”) as of 6/30/26.

Founded in 1987, Harvest provides portfolio management and financial planning services to individuals and families. Built on principles of transparency and client advocacy, Harvest has cultivated long-standing client relationships through thoughtful advice tailored to each client’s unique goals. Harvest clients will gain access to Verdence’s resources, including multi-family office services, private investment opportunities and dedicated investment and planning teams. Harvest is led by Managing Member Michael Meily, who will join Verdence as Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor, along with all members of the Harvest team.

“Mike and I have known each other for years, and it was clear from the beginning that Harvest looked much like Verdence with deep client relationships and a collaborative culture,” said Leo Kelly, Chief Executive Officer at Verdence. “We’re headquartered in the same community, but more importantly, we share a common approach to serving clients. Harvest clients will continue to receive the personalized guidance they value, now supported by the broader team at Verdence.”

“Verdence’s reputation is exceptional, but what mattered most to me was the alignment in how we think about clients,” said Michael. “Leo and I share the belief that growth should be purposeful and enhance the client experience. Joining Verdence allows us to expand the resources available to clients while staying true to the values and relationships that have defined Harvest for nearly four decades.”

This is Verdence’s second acquisition since accepting an equity investment in April 2026 from Wealth Partners Capital Group (“WPCG”) and HGGC’s Aspire Holdings platform.

“This transaction brings together two well-aligned firms and positions the combined organization for continued growth,” said Dan Stanton, Partner at WPCG. “Strategic M&A will be a meaningful part of how Verdence expands its geographic reach, and the acquisition of Harvest is an important step forward.”

The acquisition closed on September 18, 2026. Financial and legal terms of the deal were not disclosed.
